Just wanted to take a minute to mention that I'm very pleased with the Special Mate tackle box I recently purchased. It is a very good design, of excellent quality, and I'm sure it will serve me well over the years. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a guarantee to catch fish, but nevertheless, I'm extremely happy with it.
Thanks for the attention you've given me. There were several things that drove my decision to purchase from you:
1. The product was made in the U.S.A., which was the biggest decision maker
2. Your personal recommendation of the tackle box
3. Your quick response and personalized service such as the "thank you" emails, the thank you note enclosed in the box, etc. Close personal service these days is rare, but good retailers know its value.
Thank you for shipping that spoon box so quickly. Late Wednesday night, I was on the phone with my dad wishing him a Happy Birthday, while I placed that online order to you and he received it that same week, Friday afternoon. This happened even after you called me and emailed me in reply to my having messed up the shipping address. Great service all around. In a time when everything moves so fast, except for shipping, you have far exceeding my expectations, as I was fully prepared to have to wait the "7 to 10 days" as quoted. When he called me up Friday afternoon all excited, that was the best thing that had happened all day. He was very happy with the spoon box and it was exactly what he was looking for, but could not find in any of the local sporting good stores. The design with the "book-like holders" were even better than he had in mind.

I just picked my order up at our Post Office and you were correct, Canadian Customs is exactly where the hold up was. With our Cdn/US dollar value pretty much on par, it has tripled the mail orders between our countries according to the Post Master and they have been hiring temp and permanent staff like crazy to handle it. Good news for everyone I would say.
The lures look like they are going to be excellent for the Muskie and possibly for Striper fishing here in New Brunswick and if you would like I will fire you an email letting you know how I did with them here this summer and fall for use in your advertisements if you wish. I will get some pictures as well.

It is great to be from Iowa. It is also great to do business with a fellow Iowan. I had no idea we had a great store such as yours in Iowa. I haven't been home since October of 2006 though. I am a Army Reservist out of Ames and am currently in Afghanistan. I will be home for the first two weeks of July...going on a fishing trip to Minnesota (Vermillion River). I recently bought a Outdoor Life Magazine and they had an article on Muskie lures, so I looked up Joe Bucher's (Topraider) website and you were the first dealer that popped up. I was surprised too, that a store in Iowa had just what I was looking for. Muskie and Pike lures. Since these are my two favorite fish to fish for. Obviously, in Iowa, we don't have the best spots for it, so most of my time is spent in Minnesota or Canada. So, unfortunately, half of my leave will be in Minnesota, but for a good cause. I can't wait to get back to Iowa.
Anyway, yes, the color. Let's try the Sherbert. So, do you have a store in Marshalltown then or just a website? I cant wait to forward this site to my friends. They will be impressed.

Thanks for the prompt service, Ed! I have been meaning to get a set of these (Knipex hook cutters) for a couple years now and just have not done it. Then, last weekend, a guy in our local Muskie Club got stuck really bad. That story was the final motivation. Hopefully, they'll never get used.

Several months ago, I believe it was in January of 2005 I purchased a do it yourself globe making kit. I think it was around $15 or so. I really enjoyed taking the time to make the lure and paint it. I got my first real chance to use the lure I made this past week. To make a long story short after a heated battle with a 44" musky I landed the fish but he pretty much tore apart the lure in the process. I was wondering if you still had any of these kits. I would like to purchase several of them if you still had them. It was a really great feeling to make something and then have such a monster fish hit it. I saw you had a couple of premade ones on the website but I really wanted to make another one, and my dad does too now.

I just received the copy of the Instruction Manual and schematic for the Eon Low Profile reel that I purchased from you. Thank you so much for your follow up. In this day and age, it's so hard to find a responsive person or business to follow through on a request from a customer. It's even more rare when a person takes the initiative to ensure that a customer is completely satisfied and has all necessary paperwork to accompany his purchase. I've been trying to get this information from Abu Garcia directly, but to no avail. You now have earned all my future business and I will make sure to communicate your outstanding service and products to my tournament partners.
I received my glove today and wanted to thank you for your honest way of conducing business. Your order form stated that shipping was going to be $6 and you only charged me the $2 it took to actually ship my order. Your price on the item was already fair and most online stores charge a shipping fee based on price which $6 was about average.
