The Surf Master has been reconfigured with enhanced
color patterns for the 2017 season. It is
fashioned after the old Surf-O-Reno but with 21st Century
enhancements.
The Surf Master is 5 inches long and
weighs1¼ ounces. The lure is equipped with old style copper monk
props
(front and back). Each prop has a pressed in brass bearing which
ensures smooth rotation. In addition to the brass bearing, the
props have a unique twist which provides an additional
attraction in the water as it is retrieved.
The lure is made
from Pine and has 1½ inch screw eyes front and back and a 1
inch screw eye in the body. The 4/0 X Heavy VMC hooks are attached with
stainless steel split rings, allowing for easy hook replacement.
The body hook screw eye is secured with a modified anti-back out
hook hanger.
Each lure has an
undercoat of Kills to seal the wood over which are two coats of
enamel. The lure is then sealed with a clear epoxy clear coat.
Each lure is tank balanced and then water tested to ensure
consistent performance.
This
lure is effective for Bass as well as Musky and Pike!

A Testimonial
I took my
client
David and his grandson Cameron out to
flex some vexan rods. It was A-blast fishing
with these guy's. We caught a lot of bass; at
least 30 in the 4 to 5 pound range and 9 fish
between 7 and 9 pounds. I caught all my big ones
on the Surf Master Lure. This is an
unbelievable musky bait, so I took it out to
catch some Florida “muskies” lol. I'm throwing
this bait on A 7ft 6 medium heavy
Vexan Rod seems to
work best. I have used this lure in my last 4
trips and I have caught a bunch of bass on it.
And I have caught 21 fish over 7 pounds on it.
Using the vexan 7' MMH my favorite rod.They
loved my Vexan Rods they fished with them all
day and bought 3 when we where done fishing lol. |
